Step 2: After that, connect your computer or laptop to the Amped WiFi network.

Step 3: Launch any updated internet browser on your computer or laptop. Thereafter, go to the default web page i.e. setup.ampedwireless.com, or the IP address 192.168.1.240 to access the Amped login web page.

Step 4: Next, log in to the Amped wireless range extender setup. It will redirect you to the homepage where you will see the device dashboard. 

Step 5: Once you reached the device dashboard, you will see the current status of the device. Tap on the Scan button. 

Step 6: Now, you will see that your extender will start searching for all the active wireless networks all around you. 

Step 7: A list of all the available active wireless networks will display on the screen from which you can choose the home WiFi network to connect with it. 

Step 8: When it is prompted to your screen for the network password then enter it in the respective fields. 

Step 9: The Amped setup wizard will prompt you to enter the network name or new SSID and the passphrase to your wireless network. Tap on the Next button to proceed further. Ensure to save all the configuration on the wireless extender. 

Step 10: Wait for some time until the Amped WiFi range extender will complete rebooting. Finally, the Amped WiFi extender setup has been completed successfully. 


Method 2: Through WPS Button 

Step 1: Search for the WPS button on the backside of the Amped wireless range extender.

Step 2: Press and hold the WPS button for 10-12 seconds. Thereafter, you will see the WPS LED light on your Amped WiFi range extender. 

Step 3: Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the wireless router.

Step 4: Both of your devices will connect to each other wirelessly. Next, you need to check whether your devices have been connected successfully to each other or not.

Step 5: If your devices are connected successfully then it means your Amped WiFi range extender process is completed. 

Step 6: Finally, you can log in and configure your Amped WiFi extender according to your requirements.
