Step 3: Thereafter, login to the TP-Link WiFi range extender by using the IP address you are using for the configuration of the first-time setup of the TP-Link extender. You can also use the default IP address 192.168.0.254 to login into the TP-Link range extender.

Step 4: Click on the settings and go to the system tools.

Step 5: Now, you have to backup and restore from the left pane of the menu. 

Step 6: Next, choose the factory restore option for the factory reset of the TP-Link WiFi range extender.

Step 7: A pop-up message will appear on the screen asking whether you want to perform the factory default settings or not. Click on the Yes button to go ahead. 

Step 8: In the next step, you will see that your extender will be rebooted using the factory default setting, and you have to set a new name for your WiFi.

Step 9: At last, you have to verify the WiFi signal for the confirmation of the factory reset.

Step 1: Firstly, plug your TP-Link WiFi range extender into the power socket and turn it on.

Step 2: Press and hold the reset button by using the paper pin or needle located at th backside of your extender.

Step 3: Release the button after 6-7 seconds when your device will start rebooting. 

Step 4: Now, you have to wait for some time until the rebooting is completed. Make sure that the WiFi signals coming from the extender show the default name of the SSID.
