  4. As a result, the extender is now in contact with your main router.

  5. You can turn off your extension when the green light stops blinking.

  6. Three green LEDs will illuminate your Ac1200 wireless extender.

  7. You can now connect to your wireless home network with the Ac1200.

How to Update Netgear AC1200 Firmware?

  1. Navigate to the desired website using a web browser on your laptop or desktop computer that is attached to your AC1200.

  2. In the top address box of your browser, type www.mywifiext.net or www.mywifiext.com, depending on which one you're using.

  3. The AC1200 login page will appear, complete with username and password.

  4. Log in to your extender account.

  5. Now, from the drop-down menu, select Advanced > Settings > Administration.

  6. Go to the Administration menu and select Firmware Upgrade to upgrade the firmware.

  7. Now, from the drop-down menu, choose Check Online.
